I went through the menopause approximately 5 years ago and gained 2 stones. Over the years, I have managed to lose 1 stone but try as I did, I couldn't shift the other. I tried every diet and slimming aid under the sun. Eventually, I discussed this with Karen who gave me a diet plan to follow. It involved eating small meals, every 3 hours, 5 to 6 times a day and drinking 3 to 4 litres of water daily.
This she said would educate my metabolism to work efficiently. Whilst on this diet, I have energy, don't feel hungry and enjoy 1 cheat meal a week.
