Altrincham's original CrossFit box is dedicated to helping local people achieve and exceed their personal fitness goals. Established in 2015, CFA as it's lovingly known, has gone from strength to strength through a combination of top class coaching and the can do spirit of its members. It doesn't matter if you're looking to shake up your fitness routine or have never picked up a barbell in your life.

The coaches will work with you to scale each workout to your ability and mobility, ensuring you can see a path to your progress. When you join CrossFit Altrincham you join a really friendly community, of all abilities, who are on the same journey as you. All egos are left at the door so you not only get the workout of your life but you gain new friends along the way.

We want our members to get the most out of their time at Crossfit Altrincham and that's why our coaches are trained to lead classes at the highest standard.
We not only look for the coaches that are going to have a quality approach to leading classes but coaches who are also willing to be part of our community.
In fact, the way we do things around here has led to a number of members deciding to pursue a career in CrossFit coaching and we offer internships at our box for the right trainee coaches.
CrossFit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts.
Each day the workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning, not specialising in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of building a body that's capable of practically anything and everything.
Most sessions focus on skills and strength exercises followed by a workout of the day (WOD).
The sessions typically follow a Warm Up > Skill/Strength>WOD format but may differ some days.
These bodyweight squats are perfect for any home workout, you can even throw them into a run to get those legs working even harder!
A few varieties included in the video with different muscle groups being worked in each.
These will burn.
With these bodyweight push/press exercises you can be sure to increase your upper body strength with no equipment needed at all! From scaled versions suitable to build some prerequisite strength, to a few more challenging options to mix it up and use different muscle groups.
The Fortitudo Hybrid System concept is designed to work in conjunction with CrossFit or alone.
On its own, the FHS membership will provide you with advice on nutrition, support from our coaches, guided gym sessions, access to the facility and programmes.
The main focus here is to have and stick to your goals with the help of our team and your fellow FHS members.
