It marked an important period in the history of Great Marlow School as staff can remember talk of the new Sports Centre as far back as 1993. The wait has been worthwhile as Marlow now has a state of the art multi sports and fitness centre which not only enhances the quality of the PE departments programme for pupils of the school, but also creates an opportunity for the local community to take part in a wide variety of activities with access to all of the sports facilities and the fitness suite.
The centre boasts a brand new full size floodlit all weather pitch suitable for hockey and football as well as 6 tennis courts, three of which are also used for netball, and a large outdoor basketball court. There are now 3 new football pitches of different sizes, catering for a range of age groups. Indoors you will find a 4 court sports hall suitable for a wide range of indoor sports and a fantastic state of the art fitness centre equipped with the very latest equipment and technology provided by Technogym.
