While we're social distancing it's an ideal way of getting colleagues or friends together remotely to keep fit. Here at Macksfitness Ltd we are passionate about health and fitness! We have helped hundreds of clients achieve their own personal goals, as diverse as losing 3 stone in weight in just over 6 weeks for a life changing operation, to training to visit the Antarctic!

Personal Training can be undertaken for a wide variety of reasons, from looking to lose weight for an upcoming wedding, an improvement in fitness levels. Maybe you fancy running a marathon, joining the Navy or wanting to tone up your beach body for a holiday. Check out our PT page for details. Primarily this has led to a reduction in absence and sickness, an increase in retention and improved scores in employee satisfaction surveys. Macksfitness Pilates classes focus on strengthening the whole physicality using the 34 original mat based exercises.

When it became apparent that I really needed a fitness programme I was a bit concerned.
Being a gymaphobic and exercise class quitter the best option, I felt, was to have a personal trainer.
Having met Andy at a Pilates class he was running and liking his methods of teaching we arranged for a course of sessions with him.
I was very surprised the difference having a one to session made.

I've had many gym memberships over the years, and hated every single one, every class has left me uninspired, bored and still overweight.
Then I saw an advert in a local freebie paper for a Pilates class, went along to see what was what and met Andy McNeil.
I went to his pilates classes in Colden Common, which I loved, then found out he also taught something called 'boxercise'.
I went along to a class and was instantly a convert.
We decided to create a members section as so many clients were asking for some form of online support, so here we are.
In this Pilates section you will find all the basic set up positions, reminders on neutral pelvis, engaging your core and some choice workouts!
All of us struggle with niggly injuries or inflexibility.
In this section we show you how to go through basic stretches for the whole body as well as specific exercises for common injuries.
In this section you will find pictures demonstrating all the stretches needed for major muscle groups.
There are also short films on how to treat specific injuries or conditions, such as Tennis elbow or Climbers elbow.
Use this section to enhance and enrich your training and allow you to take your fitness to the next level!
Please hold any PRE exercise stretches for 8- 10 seconds and any POST exercise stretches for 35-40 seconds.
NEVER bounce or pulse a stretch.
