Opening a gym is not about renting a warehouse and filling it with equipment. It's a service based business. Members predominantly join Woodlands to get results. These members choose Woodlands because we are - we believe! - the best gym in the area to help you get the results you want. Our approach to our classes, personal training and our own training is constantly evolving.

We keep on top of new developments in the industry and incorporate these into the way we train our clients. We were the first - and may still be the only - gym in the area to provide foam rolling. We were the first to provide Zumba, spinning, Metafit and many other classes. We've never been afraid to experiment with new ideas and concepts. We will constantly strive to keep delivering the best training methods possible.

If you forget how to do something just ask any staff member for help. There is always a member of staff available to help you out. It's not uncommon for people to forget how to programme something, so don't worry about asking.

Join or Renew your membership with a friend or family member and enjoy a joint membership for the price of a single membership.

We offer a variety of group exercise sessions throughout the day to help you achieve you build fitness, strength co-ordination and flexibility whilst burning fat.
Group sessions are shared for up to 6 people.
A fun yet highly effective combination of HIIT, body weight and resistance training to burn fat, build stamina and strength and tighten up those stubborn areas.
Non-impact exercises designed to develop strength, flexibility, balance and inner awareness.
A fantastic mix of core strength and abdominal conditioning.
How would you like to have personal training every single time you attend Woodlands Rowsley?
Well you can!
The scheme is an appointment controlled personal training system where a Personal Trainer will train 2 to 8 members at any one time.
Sessions will typically be 45 minutes and are designed for both males and females of mixed ability.
The group personal training Workout routines are both themed - not a typical circuit routine.
The training will take place in the gym and the personal training zone.

As such, we will offer you a 100% refund if you don't achieve the results you were promised.*
If you commit to one of our personal training packages and agree to follow our guidance 100%, and yet you still fail to reach your goal within the time agreed then we'll happily give you back 100% of your investment with us AND continue to train you for free until the goal is reached.
