To cut body fat and achieve weight loss it is important to look at both your exercise and nutrition habits and build a routine which creates a calorie deficit.
In essence to reduce body fat we need to consume/ eat less calories than we burn through activity and exercise each day.
However, it is important to note that the body needs a minimum amount of calories to function optimally and that consuming too few calories will result in slower weight loss or even prevent weight loss.

At the time there were no qualifications for training people diagnosed with cancer in the UK, so we studied an American course through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Upon becoming qualified as a cancer exercise trainer we started working with cancer charities throughout Scotland to support cancer survivors with exercise advice and support.
We have worked with Breast Cancer Care (Breast Cancer Now) in Edinburgh, West Lothian and Forthvalley on their 'Moving Forward' programme.
