Sportivate is a 56 million Lottery funded London 2012 legacy project that gives more young people the chance to discover a sport that they love. The programme gives 14-25 year-olds who are not particularly sporty access to six-to-eight weeks' of free or subsidised coaching in a range of sports. There's a wide range of activities on offer including boxing, judo, golf, tennis, wakeboarding, athletics, and parkour/free running.
During the six-to-eight weeks those taking part can work towards an event or personal challenge and when the free or low-cost coaching has finished they will be supported to continue playing sport. We have excellent facilities including a full size boxing ring which you will not get anywhere else in Lancashire. Nine authentic leather punch bags of varying size and shape for learning different techniques.
Two floor to ceiling balls for movement and accuracy. Skipping area and Foam flooring excercise area. Equipment used in circuit training, medicine balls, free weights, skipping ropes and benches.

Services
Natbridge Boxing club was founded by Martin Benson in 2001 and since then it has successfully nurtured and inspired young people to achieve greatness.
Martin aspired to provide affordable and accessible facilities for young people in the area, and as a keen amateur boxer throughout his teenage years he felt that the gym could open up opportunities for those who used it.
The club is Leyland's only boxing gym and it is proud to have trained young people to become champions.
Lindsey Littlewood trained in the gym and coached by Martin, she went on to win the 2007 Amateur Boxing Association Women's Championship finals in London in the 63kg to 66kg category.
