I offer Pilates classes at two Woking locations or 1-2-1 Pilates sessions in a private Woking studio. I teach all levels, including pre and post-natal, and everything is tailored to suit you. My Personal Training services can help you improve fitness, lose weight and tone up. I offer sports specific tailored programmes, as well as nutritional advice and keep fit throughout and post pregnancy.

I am a Premier qualified Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist and OCR Level 3 Pilates Instructor and have been in this profession for over 15 years. I was in Marketing before that, but have always been into fitness of some sort and used to be a club badminton player! My own personal experience with Scoliosis has fuelled my work and I enjoy working with a range of clients, abilities and challenges.

I am a Premier qualified Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist and OCR Level 3 Pilates Instructor and have been in this profession for over 18 years.

I was diagnosed with an array of spinal problems including skeletal Scoliosis and Hyper-Khyphosis at the age of 16, following months of neck stiffness and headaches, so this put an end to my badminton days as it put too much stress on one side of my body.
Pilates is a complete exercise method developed by its founder Joseph Pilates over the course of a lifetime dedicated to improving physical and mental health.
Pilates has become very popular with the general public of all ages and levels of fitness, some of whom have never embarked upon any form or physical fitness regime before.
The slow controlled flowing movements of Pilates primarily strengthen the core muscles that stabilize and support the spine and improve overall mobility, thus realigning the body and correcting postural problems.
I offer the opportunity to carry two sessions over to the next term on my evening sessions if you have to cancel for any reason providing 24hrs notice is given.
This means you don't loose your class fee for that session.
I also offer the flexibility to swap your classes around so if you can't make your regular day you can swap to another day providing there is space.
I have been teaching Pilates for over 4 years and have gained much experience with back and joint problems, sciatica, pre and post-natal Pilates - and know how to adapt the exercise to suit each individual.
Pregnancy is a time when your body goes through enormous changes including emotional, physical and hormonal.
You should not be thinking about getting fitter, more toned or even slimmer, your priority should be to maintain your level of fitness that is beneficial to you and your baby.
Pilates is an excellent way to strengthen postural muscles through increased body awareness.
This in turn will make pregnancy more comfortable and pain free.
As your breasts get larger and heavier there is an increased strain on the neck, shoulders and back.
Body Torque can offer you private 1-2-1 Pilates instruction from its Private Studio in Send or in the privacy of your own home.
These sessions are bespoke and tailored to suit individual needs and objectives to allow for greater progression and development.
If you are rehabilitating from injury, are limited in your movement, have specific joint or spinal problems or would just like some dedicated time with your instructor then, private sessions are for you.
