Group classes: Would you like to learn Tai Chi and Health Qigong(R) movements and understand their health benefits? The philosophy of my classes is tranquility, enrichment and fun! Join me to unify your body, breathing and mind. Talks, demonstrations & taster sessions: Do you run a local interest group in the Derby area that invites speakers? Would you like to try something a little different?

I would love to share Health Qigong(R) with you! Qigong is a gentle exercise incorporating the mind, breathing and body to promote circulation of energy within the body. Qigong uses slow graceful movements and controlled breathing techniques. Qi means air, breath or life force; gong means work, so Qigong is the practice of "working" with one's "life force".

Smooth flow of energy through our body enables us to maintain good health. Health Qigong(R) is a system developed to capture the most beneficial aspects of traditional qigong exercises. Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese practice of keeping fit, learning self-defence, and improving physical and mental wellbeing.
Services
Please wear flat shoes, plimsolls or trainers are ideal, or you may prefer to work in bare feet, it is entirely up to you!
If you are joining me at the Elephant Rooms venue in Draycott the studio has a "no outdoors shoes" policy, so please bring some indoor-only shoes or work in bare feet.
Bring a drink of water in case you feel warm from doing exercise, especially if it's a hot day!
It's really important I know of any medical conditions or injuries so I can adjust any of the exercises to best support you.
