My approach is based on the principle of change and I've created the Evolving Fitness Studio with that in mind.
My experience in working with the body, utilizing weights and improving heart health are the corner-stone to what we do here.
People choose to try yoga for many different reasons.
It may be to stretch the body, to ease back pain, to support your body in its chosen sport, or to try to find a time and place in your busy schedule that's just for you.
Whatever your reasons for trying yoga, we can guarantee it will bring about a positive change either physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.
At Evolving Fitness we practice Hatha yoga, which primarily focuses on yoga postures and breath awareness.
A training session based on pulling together all elements of fitness, strength, flexibility and relaxation.
At Evolving Fitness we combine the styles of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa flows to bring an uplifting invigorating practice to your mat.
However the styles of yoga are practiced, principally all styles are borne from the same roots.
Working with the body in such detail and mindfulness allows us to get to know our body and learn to understand its restrictions and its abilities.
This gives to us a stronger body, a balanced body and most importantly a mind and body connection.
Many of the postures are designed to work with our internal organs resulting in improving their health.
40:20 Training has been created by Evolving Fitness to capture what we believe are all the elements required for a healthy, fit, strong body.
Include in this session the yoga element that allows us to re-connect to our body and you end up leaving the class fully energized and fully centred.
The 1-hour class is split into 40:20 second intervals.
For 40 seconds you engage in either a cardiovascular driven exercise at high intensity or a weight bearing exercise, you then rest for 20 seconds and this pattern continues for 40 minutes.
Our Kettlebell HIIT class is a fantastic full body resistance workout.
Designed to burn fat and build lean muscle.
During a class you will work your entire body from start to finish increasing your heart rate and pushing your muscles to the limit.
Kettlebell HIIT is tailored towards people of all abilities.
So if you are someone who regularly exercises or someone who is just starting on their fitness journey then this class can work for you.
Maintaining good form is key in this exercise routine so ensuring safe practice of each move is vital to get the best out of the class.
