We are proud to say we are not a big multinational chain, we are a local gym for local people. Everyone is welcome at our gym, and no one will ever be judged by age, size, shape or ability. We strive to provide a welcoming, non-threatening environment where people can work towards their fitness goals, and always ensure that a member of the team is on hand to offer advice and support, and to ensure you exercise in a safe and effective manner.

Our resident PTs are here to help you achieve your goals, and ensure your sessions are safe and effective. Talk to any member of the team for more information. Our gym is for the local community, it is a place where people of all sizes and abilities are welcomed; where no one will be judged by age, size, shape or ability. Our gym is for you. We have trained nutritionists who can advise you on healthy eating in a realistic and achievable way.

We do not believe in fad diets, we want to help you create a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Everyone is welcome and we will ensure there is always a member of the team on hand to offer advice and support.

Forefront Fitness was established in 2013 and is led by Steve Foreman.
After a career in NHS Senior Management, and then a diagnosis of Stage IV Multiple Malignant Melanoma, Steve made the decision to follow his dreams and move into the fitness industry.
He and the rest of the team are passionate about helping people to be their very best.
Steve is a qualified Personal Trainer with additional qualifications in Nutrition.
At Forefront Fitness, we want to help as many people as possible lead a healthy lifestyle, so we strive to achieve a welcoming and friendly environment for everyone.
We appreciate that managing your weight can be difficult.
You only have to look on social media to be overwhelmed by miraculous pills and diets that all promise an easy and quick approach to weight loss.
At Forefront Fitness we don't believe in "fad diets" or drugs, a magic pill does not exist.
Losing weight takes time and effort, to keep weight off, you need to lose it slowly, evidence shows that most people who lose a lot of weight quickly, just end up putting it all back on.

I've belonged to gyms in the past.
I was one of those people who'd pay for membership, but then never go to the gym.
It wasn't something I enjoyed, so it was easier to just not go.
That changed for me when I began getting personal training sessions.
Steve makes sure each session is different and he challenges me with realistic expectations.
The gym itself has a variety of equipment in a clean setting with a diverse membership who always make me feel welcome.
Because of personal training, I attend the gym regularly and I know I am on the road to a healthier lifestyle.
